Fundraisers are hoping to beat last year's total of £20,000

The start of the Isle of Man's annual "Bra Dash" has £5,000 raised for Breakthrough Breast Cancer so far.

Races in Douglas, Castletown and Ramsey saw runners in their underwear with collection buckets to make the cash.

Race organisers said 260 people took part in the dashes and their sponsorship money still needs to be added to the running total.

On Saturday a fourth dash will take place in Peel to try to beat last year's fundraising total of £20,000.

Angie Aire, race organiser, said: "So far it's been great fun and looks like we'll raise a lot of money."
