Software error affects tax forms

Tax assessment forms have been affected by a software error in the Isle of Man.

The Income Tax Division of the Manx government said that a number of tax assessment notices may be missing descriptive text.

The missing text is limited to the descriptions of income and deductions and does not affect the numerical calculation or tax liability.

Reprinted assessment notices are being issued as a matter of urgency, the government said.
