Tree recycling scheme continues

Christmas tree - generic
The scheme continues until Saturday

Footpaths at an Isle of Man nature reserve will be covered with recycled Christmas trees.

The trees from Ramsey will be turned into compost or used on the paths at Poyll Dooey, the Ramsey Town Commissioners have said.

Trees can be left at the Commissioners Garden Nursery Site, on the corner of North Shore Road and Park Road, every day this week, until Saturday.

It is the sixth year the recycling scheme has operated in Ramsey.
