Vandals set football pitch alight

Vandals have set fire to a football pitch in the Isle of Man.

Braddan police are investigating the criminal damage at the Gymnasium football club's ground at Tromode Road in Douglas.

Petrol was poured onto the grass and set alight, causing damage to the playing area.

Police believe the incident happened overnight on Wednesday and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
