Manx ferry sailings are cancelled

Fast ferry sailings to and from the Isle of Man continue to be subject to delays and cancellations due to high winds and heavy rain.

The Douglas to Heysham service at 0930 BST and return sailing from the Lancashire port to the Isle of Man at 1215 BST have been cancelled.

On Thursday, services to and from Liverpool were affected by the weather.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company said the adverse forecast was also likely to affect Saturday's services.
