Vandals target park bowling green

A bowling green has been vandalised in the Isle of Man.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the criminal damage, which happened overnight on Monday at the pitch at Nobles Park in Douglas.

The grass was damaged by the vandals sometime between 1600 BST on Monday and 0815 BST on Tuesday.

An Isle of Man police spokesman said that the damage to the bowling green had "caused considerable inconvenience to users".
