Weather forces ferry cancellation

Viking
Sailings between Douglas and Liverpool have been cancelled

Fast craft ferry sailings between the Isle of Man and Liverpool have been cancelled due to bad weather.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company cancelled its morning Viking sailing from Douglas to Liverpool.

The early afternoon return journey from Liverpool was also cancelled because of "adverse weather" conditions in the Irish Sea.

Passengers were transferred to the Heysham crossing. The sailings were expected to go ahead on Tuesday.
