Arrest warrant issued for Kershaw

An arrest warrant has been issued for DJ Andy Kershaw after he allegedly broke a restraining order in the Isle of Man by harassing his ex-partner.

In January the Rochdale-born DJ was jailed for three months for breaching an order banning him from contacting Juliette Banner who lives in Peel.

He served 44 days but was arrested again just three days after release.

He subsequently admitted breaching a restraining order and was given a six-month suspended jail term.

Manx High Bailiff Michael Moyle, who sentenced him in March, also advised him at the time to leave the island and live with his mother in Rochdale, Greater Manchester to help him sort out his personal problems.

A spokesman for the Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed that an arrest warrant had been issued.
