Man is bailed after pub bomb hoax

A man arrested after an Isle of Man pub was subjected to a bomb hoax has been released on bail, police have said.

The Ellan Vannin in Market Square, Ramsey, was evacuated after a member of staff received a call saying there was a bomb on the premises on Sunday.

Police cordoned off the area and searched the premises but no explosive device was found.

The man who was arrested after the incident has been bailed pending further inquiries.
