Countdown to island's Guitarfest

Fans of guitar music are counting down the hours to the start of the four-day Isle of Man's Guitarfest.

The festival, which features local and visiting guitarists, gets under way with a gig by Steve Gibbons at Douglas Freemasons' Hall.

Other artists lined up for the festival include Spanish guitarist Juan Martin who played the Love Theme in the 1980s TV series the Thorn Birds.

As well as performing, the artists will also hold workshops over the weekend.
