Teenager dies in wall collision

An 18-year-old man has died after the car in which he was a passenger hit a wall and overturned in the Isle of Man.

The teenager, who has not been named, was in a Vauxhall Zafira travelling towards Onchan when the accident happened at Hilberry on Saturday night.

Police say that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The road was closed between the Little Mill Road and Cronk-ny-Mona for a number of hours on Sunday and Monday while forensic searches were conducted.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident, which happened shortly after 2230 BST, to contact them.
