More visitors to new Manx prison

The new jail at Jurby
The prison is due to become operational in May

The second round of public visits to the Isle of Man's new prison are taking place, after the first attracted more than 1,200 people.

The first public viewing days at the Jurby prison were full to capacity.

Senior prison officers are conducting the tours of the category B prison, which opens next month, replacing the Victoria Road jail.

The second round of visits take place this Saturday and Sunday. A reserve list will operate for cancellations.
