Detectives are yet to find the knife used in a double stabbing in the Isle of Man.

Investigations are continuing after two men suffered stab wounds in an incident on Oak Avenue, Pulrose, on 18 April.

Police have now released a photograph of the weapon they are looking for and urged the public to "remain vigilant".

A 25-year-old man and a woman, aged 29, were remanded in custody on Monday after appearing in court charged in connection with the incident.

'Seize the knife'

Two men taken to Noble's Hospital with stab wounds have since been released, police have confirmed.

"The knife believed to have been used in the incident remains outstanding," a force spokeswoman said.

"If anyone sees a knife fitting this description they are asked to contact the police immediately and arrangements will be made for a police officer to seize the knife."

Police have thanked the residents of Pulrose for their response to appeals during the investigation.
