Ben-my-Chree sailed from Heysham on Monday afternoon

The Ben-my-Chree ferry has returned to service after two weeks in dry docks for maintenance works.

Her first sailing was due to be the 0845 GMT service from the Isle of Man to Heysham, but additional work caused an extra delay.

The ferry's first sailing from Heysham after its biennial maintenance took place on Monday afternoon.

Ben-my-Chree, complete with the Steam Packet Company's new livery, arrived back at Douglas at 1800 GMT.
