Personal data safety is discussed
People concerned about the safety and confidentiality of their personal information are invited to join a discussion in Douglas later.

The Positive Action Group is holding its winter public meeting in the Empress Hotel at 1930 GMT.

It is to address the loss of personal data in the UK and talk about how safe islanders' information is.

The Manx government has announced it is to review its data protection and information security procedures.

This follows a series of incidents in the UK, the biggest being the loss of 25m people's child benefit details.

More recently four CDs containing personal details from court cases went missing in the post.
