The Isle of Man Post Office is set to launch a new collection of stamps to celebrate the island's Vintage Ploughing Championships.
The stamps pay tribute to the island's ploughing experts
The ploughing competition takes place in September and Isle of Man ploughing experts are featured on the set painted by local artist Peter Hearsey.
A Manx Post Office spokeswoman said they wanted to pay tribute to the island's ploughing experts.
The stamps and presentation packs will be available from 1 September.
"Manx ploughmen have always taken immense pride in their horses, ploughs," said Lucy Webster from the Isle of Man Post Office.
"It is quite remarkable that such an exercise as ploughing, so fundamental to basic food production, should achieve world status," she added.
Manx exponents Harold Leece, John Costain, Jim Caine, Herbie Moore, Jack Clague and the late Jean Burns are all featured demonstrating a variety of ploughing styles and methods in the specially-commissioned images.
A collection of stamps were also created earlier in the year to commemorate the historic link between the Isle of Man and Liverpool for its 800th birthday year.
