Island airline hits 1m milestone
Euromanx passengers
All passengers were given a free return flight
The Isle of Man-based airline, EuroManx Airways, has celebrated carrying its one millionth passenger.

The firm - which operates four routes off the island to Manchester, London City, Liverpool and Belfast - said it was a milestone in its history.

It celebrated by offering everyone on the flight out of Manchester a free return ticket for any of its routes.

John Seymour, EuroManx Airways chief executive, described it as a "great day" for the company.

The firm said the one millionth passenger was a Mrs Graham, from Ballaugh. She was presented with her gift before boarding the flight.

"I am delighted that this moment was achieved by Mrs Graham who was travelling on our Manchester route, which has seen rapid growth in the past three months," Mr Seymour added.
