Manx gas price lowered for island
The Isle of Man energy company Manx Gas has announced that it will cut the price of gas from the first of April.

The company says bills for central heating users will fall by around eight per cent.

The announcement comes after the Office of Fair Trading said it was to look at the tariffs set by the company.

Managing director Alan Bates said they were removing the fuel cost adjustment, introduced last September, as wholesale prices had stabilised at a lower level.
