The chocolate Labrador was found near the water
Police are speaking to dog owners to try to track down those responsible for the "barbaric" killing of a Labrador.

The chocolate-coloured dog, aged between two and three, was found dead at the side of the Sulby reservoir on the Isle of Man.

It had its muzzle bound and legs tied with duct tape and is thought to have been drowned.

Police will be speaking to dog walkers at the reservoir over the weekend in the hope of getting fresh information.
