Business support for smoking ban
A consultation with businesses is under way on the Isle of Man before a ban on smoking in some public places comes into force.

The Draft Prohibition of Smoking in Certain Premises Regulations 2007 comes into operation in March 2008.

Smoking will be banned in certain premises to reduce smoke exposure and provide smoke-free workplaces.

The government said it will offer support to businesses to help them comply with the new law.
