Islanders back recycling schemes
Residents on the Isle of Man are doing their part to help save the planet, according to new recycling statistics.

Figures show that last year's levels were up 8% on 2005 - and 14% on the 2004 statistics.

Stephanie Grey, recycling manager from the Department of Local Government and the Environment, says the government is working hard to encourage people.

"We are trying very hard to educate people to recycle more and we are talking to schools too," she said.
