Douglas is representing the island in Britain in Bloom
Judges from the Britain in Bloom contest have been on the Isle of Man to check out the Douglas displays.

The town is representing the island for this year's contest.

The two judges visited this week, but island officials will have to wait until September to find out how the town has fared in the competition.

One of the judges, Jim Buttress, said he was impressed with how the town has changed since his last visit, with several new developments.
