Call to restore full health cover
Residents on the Isle of Man are urging the Treasury to set aside £400,000 to help restore 24-hour cover at one of the island's hospitals.

Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital lost its round-the-clock cover three years ago, a move which sparked mass street protests at the time.

But despite Tynwald voting to reinstate it last year, full cover has yet to be restored at the hospital.

Islanders voiced their concerns at two public meetings on Thursday night.
