Piglet litter stolen in farm raid
Litter of piglets lying in straw
The piglets have been separated from their parents too early
A litter of piglets has been stolen from a farm on the Isle of Man.

The animals, which are just three weeks old, were snatched overnight on Wednesday from two pens at Ballaghennie near the Ayre visitors centre.

Although livestock thefts on the island are rare, farming experts said animals can suffer health problems if separated from their parents at an early age.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the missing piglets to get in touch.
