Rock legends Alice Cooper and Lou Reed have been booked to play on the Isle of Man during this year's TT Festival.
Alice Cooper and Lou Reed will play in June
Glam rock star Cooper will play the Villa Marina on 1 June, and Lou Reed plays two dates, the 8 and 9 June.
The Isle of Man Department of Tourism is triumphant at the gigs and said they are expected to be popular with local people, bikers and UK rock fans.
Tourism Minister David Cretney said the bookings are a major coup for the island and will "enhance" the festival.
"It's a lot of hard work behind the scenes, but we are absolutely delighted - I'm certainly very delighted - that we've got to this stage and it certainly enhances what is going on at TT time.
"In particular the Lou Reed gigs, people could come up to the island specially for those gigs, and perhaps take in the senior race, or the classic nostalgia weekend or other activities.
"We believe that there will be interest from people in the UK to come over and spend time with us specifically for both of these concerts."
Tickets for the events go on sale in the next few weeks.
