Island wins first Melbourne medal
Isle of Man team at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony
The island has competed in every Games since 1958
The Isle of Man is celebrating winning its first medal of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Trevor Boyles and David Walton took bronze in the men's trap pairs.

The island is looking to gain its first Commonwealth gold since 1986, when Nigel Kelly won the shooting individual men's skeet in Edinburgh.

A Manx team has competed in every Commonwealth Games since its first appearance in Cardiff in 1958, when Stuart Slack won a cycling bronze.
