Appeal over care teenager funeral
Map of Isle of Man
The family of a teenager who died in a care home on the Isle of Man are appealing for her body to be returned home to Northern Ireland.

Nadine Smith, 17, was found dead in a Manx Family Services home in Onchan in December last year.

Her uncle JJ O'Neil, from Armagh City, said that the family were still waiting to bury Nadine.

Investigations are still ongoing into Nadine's death. She was living in the staffed unit with two other youngsters.

Nadine, from Armagh City, was a former pupil at St Ninian's High School.

A review of the circumstances surrounding Nadine's death is under way.
