Review of Guernsey's regulator 'to take longer'

Carla McNulty Bauer
Deputy McNulty Bauer said the scope of the review had widened

A review of Guernsey's utility regulator could take longer to complete than first thought, the Commerce and Employment Department has said.

It said it may not be able to make the report on the role of the Office of Utility Regulation available by the original target of October.

The report aims to assess the office's appropriateness and effectiveness.

Minister Carla McNulty Bauer said the scope of the review had broadened and so would need more time and resources.
