Plans to improve Alderney harbour and surrounding area

Plans have been put forward to improve Alderney's harbour and the surrounding area.

A report, from the States of Alderney's Marina Advisory Group includes carrying out improvements to the road to the west of the quay.

Works have also been proposed for the quay itself and Braye Street.

The advisory group said that consultation had taken place with residents, businesses and harbour users to establish what was needed.

A consultation period of a month is also under way.

Anyone wishing to have their say on the plans should write to the chairman of General Services at the Island Hall, the group said.
