Alderney's only set of traffic lights have been put back in place after they disappeared during Monday night.

They were first put in place seven years ago on Braye Hill and were met with mixed reactions by residents.

The lights were found on top a burger van near Braye Harbour at 0720 BST on Tuesday and were back in their rightful place by 0930 BST the same day.

Alderney Police said it would welcome any information relating to the incident.
