Seventeen residents and seven staff have so far been infected
Infection control measures continue at a Guernsey residential care home after more people became affected by a stomach bug.
Seventeen residents and seven staff are now infected, although those who first became ill are starting to recover.
The Housing Department, who run the home, first closed Maison Maritaine to visitors on Tuesday.
Residents were advised to remain within the Home and not to visit family members or attend community events.
Tests continue to see if the outbreak is being caused by Norovirus, also known as winter vomiting disease.
It can spread very easily from one person to another and remains highly infectious for at least 48 hours after symptoms have settled.
There are currently 50 people living at the home in the Vale.
