Maison Maritaine has about 50 residents
A Guernsey residential home is closed to visitors while tests are carried out after a possible Norovirus outbreak.
Thirteen people have been affected by a stomach bug at Maison Maritaine, in the Vale.
Managers at the home said they had introduced measures to stop the spread of any infection.
The home has remained open but visitors will only be allowed in during an emergency. There are currently 50 people being looked after at the home.
Tests are now being carried to establish whether it is Norovirus or another bug.
Norovirus, often known as winter vomiting disease, is common throughout the British Isles.
It can spread very easily from one person to another and remains highly infectious for at least 48 hours after symptoms have settled.
