Parking charges at Guernsey Airport to rise by 1

Charges for short-term parking at Guernsey Airport are to rise by £1 in February.

Parking will still be free for the first hour, but motorists will then pay £3 for parking up to six hours, £5 for 12 hours and £7 for up to 18 hours.

Long-term parking charges are not changing, the airport said.

Airport Director Colin Le Ray said the increases were the first since 2002 and there was a deliberate policy to keep charges as low as possible.
