Crackdown over anti-social crime

Alderney Police officers are tackling the problem of anti-social behaviour by working later into the evenings.

Off-duty officers on the island have also agreed to be called in to tackle incidents as part of the crackdown.

Insp Jane Henaghan said the priorities for the police will be directed by what the public want.

At the beginning of August the police started sending letters to parents whose children were found to be out late at night.
