Royal pair in first island visit

The Earl and Countess of Wessex
The Earl and Countess of Wessex are on a tour of the Bailiwick

The Earl and Countess of Wessex have toured the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry Museum at Castle Cornet.

The royal couple's first ever tour of the Bailiwick began when they arrived by helicopter in St Sampson's on Monday morning.

They were given a tour of Le Murier and St Sampson's High School before unveiling a plaque at an official opening ceremony.

On Tuesday the royal couple will visit Herm, Sark and Alderney.
