Repaired ferry is back in service

Condor 10
The Condor 10 was repaired in France

A ferry operating between the Channel Islands and France which was cancelled because of a repairs delay has finally resumed its crossing service.

The Condor 10, which sails between the islands and St Malo, was out of action for more than a week because of an engine fault which needed to be fixed.

The ferry was down to running on just three of its four engines after a propeller shaft failed in May.

It was due back to work on Thursday but repairs took longer than expected.
