Views sought on tobacco ads ban

Advertising of cigarettes and other tobacco products could be banned in Guernsey if islanders agree.

Politicians are consulting on the acceptability of proposed legislation to ban display and advertising of tobacco products in all shops.

They also want to know what people think of further controls including banning vending machines.

Questionnaires will be distributed with the closing date for responses at the end of May.
