Mail collections on Sundays ends

Letters will no longer be collected from post boxes in the Channel Island of Guernsey on a Sunday.

From this weekend, the company's existing Sunday service will be replaced with a Saturday one instead.

A new island-wide collection took place at 1100 on Saturday to connect with the UK network.

Guernsey Post say the changes will mean that all UK-bound mail, not just that destined for southern England, will be delivered on a Monday
