Christmas tree exhibition starts

Christmas trees decorated by numerous charities in Guernsey have gone on display on the island.

St Peter Port's town church is staging the event which sees charities using their artistic skills to represent their work through tree decorations.

The Festival of Trees will be open for viewing every day, apart from Sunday, between 1400 GMT and 1600 GMT.

Donations given to the festival will be shared out between the participating charities.
