Dead dog theft case is adjourned

A woman has appeared before Guernsey magistrates charged with stealing a dead dog.

Jessica Valpied, from the island, was charged in connection with an incident at 24/7 Pet Care in St Saviours on 17 August.

She is the founder of the business, which walks, grooms and looks after a variety of pets.

The case has been adjourned until 22 September to allow further inquiries and legal advice.
