Police cars carry drink warning

Drink-drive campaign
Police will be checking drivers

Guernsey's anti-drinking and driving campaign has taken to the roads.

Adverts are being carried on the back of police cars with the message 'Trust me I'm not the sort of taxi you want to take me home' and on buses.

It is part of the first summer anti-drink driving campaign which includes police stop-checks over the summer period.

Police said they were targeting those drivers who took alcohol to parties and barbecues.
