Boulders are moved from car park

Cobo boulders being removed
The boulders had stopped shoppers from using the car park

Granite boulders which once blocked the entrance to a Guernsey car park have been removed.

Cobo car park, next to Checkers Express, was barricaded in January, stopping shoppers from using it.

The entrance was later cleared and the car park reopened after protests from local people.

The last of the 28 boulders have now been removed. Car park owner AW Holding, which bought the site last year, was unavailable for comment.
