Parents quizzed on school safety
Parents of two new schools in Guernsey are being asked for their help in making pupils' journeys safer.

St Sampson's High School and Le Murier School for children with learning difficulties will open in September.

But campaigners fear children walking to school will have to cross the busy Baubigny Road.

The Environment Department is asking parents of pupils to assess the demand for bus services and to identify proposed travel habits.

It is considering a number of safety measures including one way systems, signal controls and restricted access.
