Surfing at Vazon
Vazon is a favourite spot for Guernsey surfers
A new surf school is aiming to improve safety on a Guernsey beach.

Guernsey Surf School at Vazon beach is hoping to provide coaching for surf lifeguards in addition to newcomers.

The school says the lessons will comply with international safety standards and it hopes to organise extreme sports weekends in the future.

The surf school is also hoping to get permission from the Environment Department to locate a mobile office at the beach.
