Schools closures mulled by States
The closure of three primary schools is being considered by Guernsey's Education Department.

La Mare de Carteret and St Andrew's primaries and St Sampson's infants school are being considered for closure.

Guernsey's Education Minister, Deputy Martin Ozanne, is blaming a drop in birth rates in the island for the decision.

The move could affect more than 600 island pupils.
