Electronic option for tax returns
Guernsey residents will be allowed to complete their income tax returns online this year.

Paper copies of the form have been delivered to island homes, but residents have been given the option of filling it out electronically.

Taxpayers can log on to a secure website and submit the completed document electronically to Guernsey's new paperless income tax office.

It is hoped the system will eventually speed up assessments or repayments.

Islanders can register for the form through the States of Guernsey website.
