Christmas tree recycling extended
A fundraising scheme allowing people in Guernsey to recycle Christmas trees has been extended.

The successful recycling initiative, run by Specsavers, will now continue until Tuesday.

The company is raising money for the Prince's Trust by collecting the trees in return for a donation.

Spokesman Ben Le Huray said nearly 250 trees had already been collected for recycling in the island, helping to raise £1,500.

"We're setting a target of another £1,000 for the 12th day of Christmas."
