'Seasonal greetings' cost 5p less
Guernsey stamps
The price of sending a Christmas card goes down
Festive messages will be cheaper this year across the island as Guernsey Post reduces the price of its stamps.

Any seasonal cards sent locally between 7 and 14 December will be 27p each, 5p less than normal.

Last year 447,000 cards were delivered during the reduced rate period, which is the equivalent of 50,000 a day.

There are six different stamps featuring pictures of Christmas decorations and snow and ice, which are all available from island post offices.
