Future 'uncertain' for magazine
Fermain Bay
The magazine focuses on island life and the people who live there
The 12 members of staff at the Guernsey magazine 24Se7en face an uncertain future following the news that Channel Publications is to cease trading.

Declining advertising revenue has forced Cimandis, the manufacturing and distribution business of CI Traders, to close the publishing division.

The division also employs a further 12 members of staff in Jersey.

Channel Publications also publishes the monthly business title Enterprise and the Perry's Guide Maps.

The company says that all employees are being spoken to individually about the possibility of alternative employment within the organisation, which is the largest private employer in the Channel Islands.

Cimandis managing director Paul Luxon said the move had "nothing to do" with the proposed takeover of CI Traders by a UK private equity company.

Sandpiper Bidco is set to buy the retail and hospitality group for £260m.
