Arrangements are being made for the election of a new jurat in Guernsey after a jurat announced he would be standing down.
David Jory will be standing down from the post on 15 June.
The island has 12 jurats. They are lay members of the Royal Court and sit with the presiding Bailiff or deputy.
All nominations must be handed into the Bailiff in writing by 8 June. The new jurat will be chosen by the States of Election at the end of June.
Nominations must be made and seconded by a member of the States of Election or a douzenier.
